I think when you look back at art you did a few years ago, it's like someone else painted it. The passage of time allows you to look at it with detachment, so you are not as critical of it as you are of something you did more recently.

I like this primitive rock art horse. Interesting to read your concerns. I go through feelings that are similar every time I sit down to draw or paint. That fear factor is different. I think I mostly fear that someday I will not be able to afford art supplies.
I often think my art is getting worse not better. I like pictures that I did 3 or 4 years ago better than the ones I am doing now. Then I wonder why I spend so much time trying to post art. It has become sort of compulsion for me. Sorry I am blabbing a lot about me.
